The enclosure accommodates standard Single Din size radios; including pull out or detachable front radios. Gimbal mount for deck or overhead installation. Made with durable weather and UV resistant ABS Plastic, with Poly-carbon front cover. The enclosures are engineered for the outdoor environment to protect your radio from the elements and yet offers ventilation for the radio allowing for cool trouble free operation. Rubber grommets in the rear of the enclosure allow for easy routing of the radio wires for connection. The mounting bracket can be flipped for top or bottom mounting. The Outside measurement looking from the front of the housing is 8-1/8″ (W) x 3-3/8″ (H) x 9-1/4″ (D) (Does Not include Mounting Bracket in measurement). Inside mounting measurement for Radio is (Standard Single DIN slot) 7-1/8″ (W) x 2-1/8″ (H) and maximum radio depth can be up to 6-1/2″. The front door smoked bubble has 1-1/8″ clearance inside for radio volume knobs and/or controls.
